英文求职信的书写格式：

　　第一段应该能够引起招聘人员对你作为候选人的兴趣，并激发阅读者的热情。阅读者为什么要读这封信?你能够为佃她做什么?

　　第二段必须推销你的价值。你那些能够满足阅读者需要和工作要求的技能、能力、资质和资信是什么?

　　第三段展示你突出的成就、成果和教育背景，它们必须能够直接有力地支持第二段的内容。如果可能的话，量化这些成就。

　　第四段必须发动将来的行动。请求安排面试，或者告诉阅读者你将在一周内打电话给他们，商谈下一步进程。

　　第五段应该是非常简短的一段，结束这封信并表示感谢。

　　一般而言，好的求职信还有下列几个特点：

　　(1)求职信属于非正式的信函，它必须能够在双方之间建立融洽的氛围。所以，你要用热情洋溢、精力充沛和令人振奋的语言来感染对方。

　　(2)在开头部分，要简要说明你是从哪里看到的招聘广告或得到的招聘信息，你对哪个职位比较感兴趣，这在无形中为人事经理的工作帮了忙。

　　(3)求职信必须向未来的雇主介绍你和你的价值。

　　(4)有效的求职信应当易于阅读，字体要比简历中的字体更大，而且要简短三到五个简短的段落就足够了。

　　(5)确保在求职信上签署姓名、日期
